Rental Terms and Conditions

1. Rates and rental period
Rates are set per unit and per rental day, and may be quoted in Dominican pesos (RD$) or US dollars (US$).
Published package prices correspond to one rental day, unless stated otherwise. Any extension of the contracted period is subject to availability and to additional charges.
2. Taxes and additional services
Published prices do not include ITBIS, transport, setup or breakdown, unless expressly stated otherwise.
These services are assessed according to the location, characteristics, schedule and specific requirements of each event, and are itemised in the corresponding quote.
3. Quotes
Each quote is prepared according to the specific needs of the event, including the selection of furniture, quantities, services and logistics required.
For corporate events or productions with specific guidelines, the quote may be prepared using as reference the brief, technical requirements, floor plans, layouts or renders previously supplied or approved.
4. Bookings and availability
Product availability is subject to confirmation at the time of booking.
A quote does not guarantee the availability of the furniture and does not constitute a booking. The date is held only once the service has been confirmed and the payment or deposit set out in the Quote has been received.
5. Payments
Payment terms and dates are specified in each quote.
The outstanding balance must be settled within the period agreed in the Quote, one (1) week before the event takes place.
6. Changes and modifications
Any change to quantities, furniture selection, dates, schedule, location or requirements must be communicated as far in advance as possible and is subject to availability.
Requested changes may result in adjustments to the original quote.
7. Transport, setup and breakdown
The costs and conditions of transport, setup and breakdown are established according to the characteristics of each event.
The client must guarantee adequate conditions of availability, access, loading, unloading and collection of the furniture at the times agreed in advance; otherwise, these problems generate additional charges that the client must bear.
8. Care of and responsibility for the furniture
All furniture and equipment delivered must be used and kept in good condition throughout the rental period.
The client is 100% responsible for any loss, damage, breakage, irreparable staining or deterioration of the furniture until it is collected by our team. Repair or replacement costs, as applicable, are charged directly to the client.
9. Cancellations
The conditions applying to cancellations, date changes or reductions in service depend on when they are notified and on the commitments, costs and resources already committed to holding the event (25 days before the original date established).
Any specific condition relating to a cancellation is assessed according to the conditions set out in the corresponding quote or contract.
10. Acceptance
Confirming the quote, making the payment established for the booking or contracting the services implies acceptance of these Rental Terms and Conditions as described here.
11. Force majeure
Neither party is liable for failure or delay in performing its obligations where this is the consequence of force majeure or of events outside its reasonable control, including among others: hurricanes, tropical storms, floods, prolonged power outages, orders of the authorities, road closures, movement restrictions, earth tremors, earthquakes or health emergencies.
In such circumstances, both parties will endeavour to act in good faith to find the most suitable alternative, and may agree to reschedule the service or to issue a credit in favour of the client, subject to the conditions set out in the cancellation policy.
The credit, where applicable, may be used within a maximum period of one (1) year from the date it is issued, subject to availability and to the conditions of the new quote.
12. Limitation of liability
Alegrafest RD undertakes to supply the rented goods in a condition suitable for use and to correctly carry out the setup services expressly contracted by the client.
Alegrafest RD is not liable for indirect damages, losses, loss of profit, or circumstances relating to the general running of the event that fall outside the scope of the contracted services.
In any case, the total liability of Alegrafest RD, where legally applicable, is limited to the amount actually paid by the client for the booking or service that is the subject of the claim.
The client is responsible for the safety of their guests and for the proper use of the furniture, equipment and other rented goods during the event, as well as for any damage, loss or misuse that may occur during the rental period.
